Brandon Dambeck is the Director at Vero Beach Regional Airport. Mr. Dambeck brings pilot knowledge and, most importantly, a passion for aviation to his role at the Airport and in the community. In 2014, while working at the Vero Beach Regional Airport, Mr. Dambeck enrolled at the Florida Institute of Technology, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management with flight, a minor in Aviation Safety, and participated in the Air Traffic Controller Training Initiative (AT-CTI) program. While studying, Mr. Dambeck went through flight training and earned his Commercial Multi-Engine Instrument Pilot Certificate.
Soon after graduating, Mr. Dambeck began his aviation career at the Vero Beach Regional Airport when he was hired as a Management Intern. Following his internship, he was hired part-time to assist with security for Airline Operations. At the tail end of 2018, Mr. Dambeck was hired on a full-time basis as a Business Specialist. In this position, he began to handle lease agreements for the city-owned T-hangar facility, lease agreements for the Citrus Park Village Mobile Home Park, and License Agreements for temporary use of Airport property.
In 2019, Mr. Dambeck was promoted to Operations Manager. In this position he performed many duties to including hangar leasing, CFR part 139 compliance, grant administration, and project management. Mr. Dambeck received his Master’s in Public Administration from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2024. He serves as the Chair for the Treasure Coast Region and statewide boards for the Continuing Florida Aviation Systems Planning Process (CFASPP) and served as the chair of the General Aviation Committee for the Florida Airports Council from 2024 - 2026. In July 2026, Mr. Dambeck received his promotion to Airport Director.
