Description: 

A fun event for the whole family at Vero Beach Regional Airport.  Free admission & free parking on airport grounds. View aircraft, classic automobiles & trucks from yesteryear to today. Check out your favorite cars, trucks, and planes, and chat with the owners. Family-oriented exhibits include the Vero Beach Police showcasing their Humvee support vehicle and the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office displaying one of their Aviation Unit helicopters and a special-use car with some eye-catching body graphics. A local chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association Youth Outreach Program is offering hands-on demonstrations of their Flight Simulator.

Directors of the Vero Beach Air Show will be there to share advance info about the highly-anticipated Blue Angels visit in 2022. Refreshments can be purchased from C.J. Cannon’s Restaurant located in the airport terminal, overlooking the runway. This event is sponsored by the City of Vero Beach and provides a great opportunity to learn more about our local airport and the vital role aviation plays in our community. Voluntary donations will be accepted by the Gold Star Mothers of Indian River County. All donations are used to support veterans and their families.

Indian River County Chamber of Commerce Corporate 5K

Description: 

Let’s Run the Runway! Join the Indian River Chamber of Commerce for The After5K on the Vero Beach Regional Airport taxiway and runway beginning at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. This professionally chip-timed event will offer a unique race opportunity on a real airport runway making it a perfect fit for runners, walkers, and families at all fitness levels. The course is flat and completely paved making it stroller and wheelchair-friendly.

Fly on the Ford

Recall the energy, passion, and excitement of the Roaring ’20s by flying aboard the Ford Tri-Motor. Known as the first luxury airliner, the Ford Tri-Motor redefined world travel and marked the beginning of commercial flight. EAA’s Ford Tri-Motor is coming to Vero Beach, Florida.
