Ms. Worthen is the Senior Administrative Assistant for the Vero Beach Regional Airport. Susan is a lifelong resident of Indian River County and graduated from Vero Beach Senior High School in 1985. Susan has been married for over 30 wonderful years. She and her family reside in Fellsmere where she and her husband raised their son.

Susan spent time as a housewife and mom before starting her career with Indian River County in 2002. She worked reception at the Indian River County Administration Building and eventually transferred to the Building Department as a Building Specialist working in Commercial and Residential Permitting. Susan began working for the City of Vero Beach in December of 2015 as a Cashier and then transferred to the Vero Beach Regional Airport in May of 2016.

As the Airport's Senior Administrative Assistant, Susan performs a wide range of duties, including managing financial reports, preparing payroll, processing invoices for purchasing, coordinating meetings, managing office files, and assisting Airport staff with a myriad of administrative tasks, as needed.
